The 88th Legislative Session amended state law and the Texas Education Code regarding vaping and e-cigarettes. House Bill 114 requires mandatory placement of a student in DAEP for selling, giving, delivering, possessing, using, or being under the influence of marijuana, THC, or e-cigarettes within 300 feet of school property as measured from any point on the school's real property boundary line, or while attending a school-sponsored or school-related activity on or off school property.
*Azle ISD has vape detectors installed in all restrooms on secondary campuses.

The 2023 Homecoming Parade will be on Monday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. A mandatory pre-parade meeting will be held at the Azle ISD Administration Bldg. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. An adult representative for each entry MUST be present at the meeting. If a group or organization has more than one entry, there must be an adult representative for each entry present. An entry form must be completed & turned in by the end of the pre-parade meeting on Sept. 14. No entries will be accepted after the September 14 meeting. More info at
